At our hotel, sustainability is more than a principle — it’s part of who we are. That’s why, for this year’s World Environment Day, we turned a global moment into a meaningful experience for our guests, our team, and our community.

A Conference Room Transformed into a Green Gallery

To spark awareness and reflection, we transformed our conference room into an interactive exhibition space. Lining the walls were 19 carefully designed posters, each tackling a different environmental issue — from ocean pollution and biodiversity loss, to food waste, deforestation, plastic consumption, and climate change.

Each poster was paired with clear, actionable tips on how individuals can make a difference in their daily lives. Whether through small lifestyle changes or increased awareness, the goal was to inspire guests to take part in building a more sustainable future.

Environmental Documentaries: Learning Through Storytelling

To enrich the experience, we also hosted continuous screenings of environmental documentaries, offering deeper insights into the challenges facing our planet — but also into the resilience of nature and the power of human innovation and collective action.

These screenings provided an excellent opportunity for visitors of all ages to reflect, discuss, and connect with the broader mission of environmental protection.

Hands-on Sustainability: Planting with Our Young Guests

We believe that the most impactful lessons come through action — and through joy. That’s why we invited our youngest guests to take part in planting aromatic herbs in one of our hotel’s gardens. Together, we got our hands in the soil, learned about Mediterranean plants, and shared the importance of taking care of the earth.

The children’s excitement and curiosity reminded us all of how essential it is to nurture a connection with nature from a young age. Each plant they placed in the ground was a small but powerful gesture of hope and responsibility.

World Environment Day 2025 was a celebration of awareness, responsibility, and community. Through creative, educational, and hands-on activities, we aimed to foster a stronger environmental consciousness — not only for a day, but for the future.
